Anthy's visit at my Midwifery school

Created by nwosuedi 11 years ago
Before Anthy got married to my brother, she visited me at school while I was a student midwife. She had come on a pickup truck and I remember making a joke about a girl driving a pickup truck. She laughed and said "Ngo, a girl can do anything she wants, drive any type of car she wants", and I added-"marry whoever she wants". She joked a lot; made me laugh; she was a humble down to earth person. To me at that time she was already family, and when she and my brother got married, I was thrilled. She kept in touch since then both in good and bad times. She was never an angry person because of her illness; she had a positive outlook to life. Even during her last days, she was still saying she was okay. I know she's okay now-- in heaven,a better place looking down on us. Enyi, Diuto,Nedum, Chidi, Amaka, the Duroha and Onuoha families loved you very much. I am happy you knew that. Anthy, may your beloved soul rest in perfect peace.
